Paharganj with its unique history has been here and loved by Delhiites since forever. Earlier known as Shahganj, now Paharganj is a marketplace which serves as backpacker’s haven and thus, is famously called the ‘hippie market’. This market is particularly is a major attraction to foreigners and tourists, particularly due to its proximity to New Delhi railway station and Connaught place.
