Shopping through the lanes of Janpath

Janpath, a flea market located in Connaught place and is famous for its Gujarati street market, handicrafts, silver jewellery, stunning and trendy clothes.

I have been shopping from Janpath market all my life, prime reason being its location, as Connaught Place in itself is a great place to roam around and hangout with friends and family.

In this blog, i'll take you to a tour through Janpat market wherein you'll find all from earrings to overcoats and a lot more.

Denims and lots of denims

From ripped shorts, rugged jeans, skirts to jeans and jackets you’ll find everything at the finest quality. Denims are so versatile and give a very edgy look to any outfit be it ethnic or western. Invest in a good pair of jeans and a denim jacket and you are good to go!

Kurtis and Kurta sets

Gorgeous Kurtis in beautiful intricate designs and vibrant colours. You can find Anarkalis, Angrakha Kurtis, kaftans, A-line and long Kurtis.

Can be paired for a casual day out or for an elegant evening look.

T-shirts and tunics

A wide variety of tunics, T-shirts and crop tops with unique and trending designs and colours. You’ll find a lot of patterns and slogan printed tees, neon pop crop tops, Off-shouldered and puff-sleeved tunics, etc.

Silver jewellery

This market is particularly famous for some beautiful jewellery at very cheap prices. Chokers, mask chains, neckpieces, earrings, bracelets, bangles, nose rings, and a lot more starting from just Rs. 20.

I personally love shopping jhumkas and silver bangles and Janpath seems to be one of the best places to find some really nice and pretty jewellery.

Bags and belts

By far the best collection for belts with corset belts to off white strap belts, to leather and cloth belts, so many choices and options to shop from!

A huge collection of leather bags, clutches, wallets, tote bags, jute bags, slings and waist bags to fulfil all your wants and needs. Price ranging from Rs. 200 till Rs.2500

Footwear

Juttis and kohlapuri chappals are very famous here and available in abundance, literally. I also found juttis with very vibrant and cool patterns, perfect to pair with a casual outfit. Do check out the mirror and tassels footwear as they look stunning when paired with ethnic wear.

Jackets and hoodies

From oversized and drop shoulder hoods to cropped jackets, Janpath has got it all. If you’re looking for a nice winterwear and don’t want to dig a hole in your pocket, do shop from here. Just a little bit searching and you’ll find the right fit and fabric for yourself.

Coats and sweaters

Warm woollen sweaters and long trench coats have my heart. This place has almost everything to keep you nice warm and cosy these winters. They are available in all sizes and very cute colours, up for grabs!
